Geneseo Migrant Center. Scholarships for children of migrant workers.
Hispanic Scholarship Fund. The HSF administers over 140 different scholarship programs w/ one general scholarship application. Deadlines vary, but many are due Dec. 15.
Immigrants Rising. Immigrant Rising’s List of Undergraduate Scholarships contains scholarships for undergraduate studies that don’t require proof of citizenship or legal permanent residency. This up-to-date list, organized by deadline date, contains scholarships at the local (Bay Area), state and national level.
MALDEF. Has scholarships for students regardless of citizenship status.
Medical Assistant Scholarships. Scholarships geared specifically toward medical assisting certificate and degree programs, along with a customizable database.

USTA Serves Scholarships. Multiple scholarships listed. Sizes vary from $1,000-$15,000. Must demonstrate academic achievement, perform community/volunteer service, participate in organized youth tennis program, & demonstrate financial need.
WA State Commission on Hispanic Affairs: National Listing of Scholarships for Non-Citizens. A comprehensive resource for scholarships, grants, and other financial assistance available. No citizenship requirement--Not limited to Hispanic heritage.

Passport to Careers
“The Passport to Careers program helps students from foster care prepare for and succeed in college, apprenticeships, or pre-apprenticeship programs. Under the Passport to Careers program, there are two sub-programs:Passport to College
Through the Passport to College program, students receive a scholarship that assists with the cost of attending college (tuition, fees, books, housing, transportation, and some personal expenses), support services from college staff, and priority consideration for the State Need Grant and State Work-Study programs.
Passport to Apprenticeship Opportunities
The Passport to Apprenticeship Opportunities program will assist students participating in a registered apprenticeship or pre-apprenticeship programs with covering occupational-specific costs such as tuition for classes, fees, work clothes, rain gear, boots, and occupation-related tools.”

The Washington State Educator Workforce programs provide financial aid to attract and retain teachers. Participants work in subjects or locations of high need known as shortage areas.

Soroptimist International of Burlington is a global volunteer non-profit organization whose mission is providing women and girls access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. We raise money for scholarships, women’s health programs and provide financial support to organizations in our community.
These are the scholarships we offer:
Live Your Dream – August 1 to November 15, 2026. This is an award for women with primary financial responsibility for herself and her dependents. You need to be attending an undergraduate degree program or vacations skills training program and have financial need. The award is $15,000.
Pathways to Success – October 1 to December 5, 2025. This scholarship is for formerly incarcerated women who are currently enrolled at SVC. We award $4.000. Below is the link to the application.

Women in Health Field – December 1 – January 12, 2026. This scholarship is for women currently enrolled in a health-related field program. We award $15,000

High School Memorial Scholarship – February 1, 2026 – March 31, 2026. This scholarship is for senior girls attending Burlington Edison High School and Mount Vernon High School. We look for financial need, volunteer work, working outside of school. Students apply through the career counselor at each school. We award $12,000.
Women in Trades – January – March. A scholarship for a woman in a trade program at Skagit Valley College. We award $4,000.
