What is the Peer Navigator program?

Sometimes the best support comes from someone walking the same path as you. Peer Navigators are trained high school students who help their peers understand financial aid, apply for scholarships, and take steps toward their post-secondary goals.

What do Peer Navigators do?

  • Guide peers through FAFSA/WASFA and scholarship applications

  • Promote and attend school financial aid events

  • Share resources and connect students to trusted adult Navigators for extra support

  • Encourage more students to take the next step toward their post-secondary dreams

Our Goal

To increase FAFSA/WASFA completion rates in Whatcom and Skagit Counties, ensuring more students access the funding needed to pursue college, apprenticeships, and career pathways.
