Counseling

“Attending college can be a time of exciting opportunity, academic achievement, and personal growth. However, if a student is trying to manage other roles or concerns during their academic experience, college can also become very stressful.  Work responsibilities, financial needs, relationship concerns, and health issues are just a few of the demands that can increase a student’s stress level and make it more difficult to achieve their academic goals.

This is part of the reason the Whatcom Community College Counseling Center provides short-term personal counseling for currently enrolled students.  Counseling services at WCC are free and confidential.  Our counselors understand the stresses of college life, and the events that can distract from the goals students are trying to achieve.”
